Description
Review inbound inventory task requests submitted by internal stakeholders using SAP and Smart Sheets. Analyze inventory levels and SKU performance to determine replenishment needs and optimize stock availability. Monitor purchase orders to ensure inventory fill rates and delivery schedules are aligned with operational expectations. Maintain accurate data logs to support seamless functionality across inventory tools and processes. Document and escalate operational issues to relevant stakeholders for resolution. Provide timely updates on task status and deliverables to requesters and cross-functional teams. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to align inventory planning with production schedules and product demand. Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process gaps and recommending solutions. This role is pretty much around the planning portion but needs a lot of coordination as well, coordinating between teams (warehouse, planning, shop) i.e. carrying packages from one point to another The role is going to be based out of a warehouse environment so candidates must be good with that. 50% on the floor/manual and 50% computer/spreadsheet/Excel type of work. Proficiency in SAP and Smart Sheets for inventory tracking and task management. Strong working knowledge of Python, scripting, and SQL databases for data analysis and automation. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and drive actionable insights. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Effective communication skills for reporting, issue escalation, and cross-functional collaboration. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with satellite or aerospace product lifecycles. Experience with SKU performance analysis and inventory forecasting. Understanding of purchase order workflows and vendor coordination. Exposure to lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
