Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic E-Commerce Director, Walmart to drive growth. This role is pivotal in scaling digital sales, managing high-impact advertising campaigns, and leading a creative team to deliver compelling brand experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for developing and implementing all growth strategies across Walmart e-commerce channels.
• Sets yearly, quarterly and monthly plans for revenue, spend, and product assortment launch strategies.
• Manages P&L for all online channels to achieve revenue target, margin targets and delivery timelines.
• Manage and optimize performance of ad and marketing efforts to drive traffic, conversion and increase digital mix.
• Researches and understands market trends with the ability to read and react quickly.
• Strong understanding of consumer behavior and ability to collaborate on consumer insight work.
• Manages product assortment, forecasting, and inventory planning alongside production planning and logistics teams.
• Manages external paid media agencies to drive results.
• Knowledge of retailer marketplaces including Walmart and the ability to interact directly with the accounts and sales partners to build strategies that impact growth.
• Plan and develop new processes for retail customer efforts including marketing, customer acquisition & retention, newsletters.
• Partner closely with marketing partners to ensure consistency across .com channels as well as social media and other marketing channels.
What We’re Looking For?
• 5+ years of ecommerce experience.
• 3+ years of management experience.
• Deep understanding of paid marketing, SEO, product pages and promos for Walmart and Walmart.com
• Experience building digital merchandising assortments and strategies.
• Proven track record of launching new products and scaling existing businesses with Walmart and other ecommerce retail sites.
• Strong ability to analyze data and develop recommendations based on analysis.
• Experience leading and activating digital marketing analysis.
• Experience leading and activating digital marketing initiatives for retail partners.
