Traversa is seeking a highly motivated Network and NAC Engineer with expertise in HP Aruba ClearPass NAC solutions and strong skills in LAN, Route-Switch, WLAN, and general network architecture. The ideal candidate will collaborate with project teams to design, implement, and deliver NAC-focused network solutions while providing technical leadership and support throughout project lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design, implement, and support LAN, WLAN, and NAC solutions.

· Adhere to and improve Traversa’s delivery methodology as needed.

· Conduct discovery, design discussions, and proofs of concept with clients.

· Lead technical demonstrations and knowledge transfer sessions.

· Develop and maintain technical documentation, presentations, and project-specific artifacts.

· Provide pre-sales technical support and post-implementation customer assistance.

· Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.

· Stay current with industry trends and emerging network/security technologies.

· Mentor junior staff and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

· Deliver training and technical support to clients and internal teams.

· Collaborate with project teams to create tailored, client-focused solutions.

Technical Skills:

Network Infrastructure & Security:

· Experience with wireless network deployments (APs, controllers).

· Strong understanding of LAN and WLAN technologies.

· Proficiency in TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching.

· Experience with firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Checkpoint) preferred.

HPE Aruba ClearPass Expertise:

· Proficient in deploying, configuring, and maintaining Aruba ClearPass.

· Hands-on experience with 802.1X authentication (wired & wireless) including EAP protocols:

o EAP-PEAP/MSCHAPv2

o EAP-TLS

· Experience with MAC authentication and guest web portal authentication.

· Deep understanding of RADIUS & TACACS+ for authentication and authorization.

· Experience integrating ClearPass with third-party solutions (MDM/EMM, firewalls, directory services).

Integration & Security:

· Integration of ClearPass with Active Directory/LDAP.

· Hands-on experience with MDM solutions (Intune, JAMF, AirWatch, etc.).

· Understanding of certificate-based authentication & SCEP for device onboarding.

· Familiarity with multi-vendor network environments integrating NAC solutions.

Virtualization & Cloud Expertise:

· Experience deploying ClearPass in VMware, Hyper-V, AWS, and Azure environments.

Network Design & Troubleshooting:

· Ability to design and implement custom NAC policies.

· Proficiency in troubleshooting network access issues and authentication failures.

· Experience with packet analyzers (Wireshark) and network diagnostic tools.

Additional Experience Areas:

· Experience with guest access solutions, BYOD, IoT authentication.

· Policy enforcement based on device posture, compliance checks, and user roles.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

· Minimum 2-3 years of experience in LAN, WLAN, and NAC solutions.

Preferred Certifications:

· Aruba Certified ClearPass Professional (ACCP) (Preferred).

· Aruba Certified ClearPass Expert (ACCX) (Highly Desirable).

· Aruba Certified Design Associate (ACDA).

· CCNA, CCNP, CWNA, or related certifications are a plus.
