About the Role:

Are you an experienced Estimating Manager looking for an exciting new opportunity? One of Insight Global’s top clients is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Estimating Manager to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for calculating project and material costs, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring accurate and fair estimates for environmental and civil construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate with estimators and assistant estimators.
• Prepare quantity take-offs and determine initial production rates.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine work requirements.
• Review bids from vendors or contractors for fairness and reasonability.
• Develop initial resource requirements, solicit material and subcontractor pricing, and establish preliminary project schedules.

Qualifications:

• 4-year engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• 5-8 years of estimating, cost control, and/or engineering experience (at least 4 years in estimating) in environmental or civil construction.
• Proficiency in HCSS Heavy Bid and MS Office.
• Ability to estimate all types of projects/contracts.

Annual Compensation:

$120,000-150,000

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
