Title Clerk-Toyota of Rockwall (Rockwall, TX)
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Title Clerk to join our team. The Title Clerk will be responsible for handling all tax, title, and registration paperwork for new and pre-owned vehicles, ensuring compliance with state and local regulations. This position plays a key role in keeping our dealership’s transactions accurate, efficient, and professional. This is a full time and in-person role.
What You’ll Do
Process all new and used vehicle titles and registrations.
Prepare and submit tax, title, and registration documents to the DMV.
Verify accuracy of title applications, lien payoffs, and collected funds.
Maintain accurate records of outstanding title work and report status to management.
Bill out dealer trades and prepare Certificates of Origin.
Manage out-of-state title verification and dealer tag renewals.
Provide updates and training to sales and F&I staff on title regulations.
Direct and support the title runner with daily tasks.
Maintain a neat, professional workspace and complete other tasks as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
Previous dealership or title processing experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Proficiency with basic math and computer skills.
Strong communication skills for working with internal teams and customers.
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree a plus).
