Our client, an IT company that supports startup operations, is hiring a Full Stack Engineer to join their New York team. The successful candidate will transform complex, real-world workflows into clean, reliable software and take full ownership of features from discovery and scoping through implementation and delivery.
Responsibilities
Develop and take full ownership of features across the frontend, backend and system integrations.
Leverage AI in practical ways to accelerate internal workflows and enhance the user experience.
Design and automate sophisticated legal and financial processes for reliability and efficiency.
Build and maintain integrations with payroll, accounting, e-signature and other third-party platforms.
Enhance internal tools, including client communications, dashboards and task management systems.
Continuously improve code clarity, observability and security across the entire platform.
Skillset
Strong full-stack development experience, with ownership across frontend, backend and integrations.
Proven track record of shipping full-stack features, from UI tweaks to backend and DevOps tasks.
Proficient in Frontend tools such as TypeScript and React.
Experienced with APIs & Data Handling.
Solid Backend skills with expertise in Node.js, Prisma, PostgreSQL, Redis.
Familiarity with Infrastructure & Deployment (Render, AWS).
Comfortable leveraging AI tools (e.g. Cursor) to streamline workflows.
Able to move quickly and iteratively without waiting for fully polished designs or detailed specs.
