Job Description

MTX Group Inc. (MTX) is currently hiring for the position of Consultant in a Functional Role . We are looking for a highly motivated individual with extensive experience in leading large-scale complex projects. The ideal candidate will be able to work closely with clients, and understand their business processes, requirements, pain points, and objectives to effectively execute projects.

Key Responsibilities:

The Consultant is expected to lead large scale/complex project(s) executing the following responsibilities:

1. Project Management:

• Adhere to the Project Planning and timeline, best practices for deliverables and documentation.
• Provide regular status updates to the PMO workstream.

2. Requirements Analysis:

• Work with the team and support dynamic workshops and interviews to gather precise technical and functional requirements.
• Apply user-centric design methodologies, such as empathy maps, persona creation, and user journey mapping, to deeply understand user interactions and needs.
• Produce detailed user stories and process flows to effectively communicate requirements to both technical teams and stakeholders.
• Develop interactive prototypes and high-fidelity mockups for iterative feedback and solution refinement.
• Formulate and test cases from design documents to cover all functionalities and conduct usability tests to confirm solution efficacy and user satisfaction.
• Facilitate stakeholder reviews of test cases to secure early approval, setting a strong foundation for UAT scripts.

3. Solution Design

• Work with the team to develop a blueprint that guides the development, implementation, and deployment of the solution.

4. Solution Configuration and Development:

• Configure and customize the Salesforce platform using the latest technology.
• Work with developers on advanced customizations through Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components to ensure adherence to best practices and optimal user experience.

5. Testing and Quality Assurance:

• Conducting unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end testing to ensure functionality, reliability, and adherence to business requirements.
• Validate functionalities against business requirements through test scenario execution.
• Conduct thorough post-migration audits to verify the accuracy and completeness of the migrated data. Work with business users to identify any issues and coordinate with technical teams to rectify discrepancies.
• Execute UAT with stakeholders to ensure the solution meets final expectations and system specifications.

6. Deployment, Transition, and Documentation:

• Support the functional deployment process and data migration.
• Create documentation on requirement gathering, business process (creating process diagram, flowcharts, process narratives etc,) using tools.
• Document data management processes clearly and comprehensively.

7. Post-Implementation Review and Iterative Improvement:

• Provide ongoing support after deployment, addressing system issues and optimizing performance.
• Continuously collect user feedback to evaluate solution impact and identify improvement areas.

8. Organization Development:

• Mentorship and Guidance: Provide mentorship and guidance to the entry professionals, fostering their professional growth and development within the team.
• Growth and Development of Project/ Regional teams: Participate in the hiring process to identify top talent for the projects in the region per the need and support PDMs in performance documentation of project team members.
• Contribution to the COE (Center of Excellence): Contribute to the development of COE with relevant deliverables and assets.
• Operational Excellence: Maintenance of Salesforce Certification, required to travel for key project milestones, maintain utilization goals.

What you will bring:

• MUST be located in Honolulu, Hawaii
• 3-6 years of experience in a functional role in the IT consulting industry.
• Competent in designing and implementing functional solutions, workflows, and processes that meet client requirements and objectives.
• Competent in facilitating working sessions with key stakeholders and subject matter experts via workshops, interviews, and business process review sessions.
• Proficient in creating documentation on requirement gathering, business process (creating process diagram, flowcharts, process narratives etc,) using tools.
• Proficient in providing user training and support to ensure successful adoption of Salesforce solutions.
• Proficient in designing and executing comprehensive test plans and strategies to validate Salesforce solutions.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills with a user centric approach to problem solving
• Bachelor's degree and above is desirable.
