Description
We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to join a team at a healthcare-focused nonprofit organization in Norristown, Pennsylvania. This fully onsite role offers an excellent opportunity to oversee HR operations across multiple locations within close proximity. This is a Contract-to-long-term position, providing the prospect of sustained employment and growth within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily HR operations, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and state regulations.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including healthcare plans and proprietary payroll systems.
- Facilitate onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
- Handle employee relations matters, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts effectively.
- Utilize HRIS systems to maintain accurate employee records and streamline processes.
- Develop and implement training programs through platforms like Relias to support staff development.
- Conduct background checks, drug screenings, and ensure proper documentation for employees.
- Collaborate with leadership to support strategic HR initiatives and organizational goals.
- Monitor and manage performance evaluations to ensure staff accountability and growth.
- Coordinate occasional evening or weekend activities as required.
Requirements - Proven experience in human resources management within a healthcare or nonprofit environment.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations and HR administration practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HR systems such as Relias.
- Ability to handle benefits management and proprietary payroll systems.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to manage diverse teams.
- Capability to perform background checks and drug screenings with attention to detail.
- Understanding of training program development and implementation.
