Our company is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team. As a Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for keeping facilities and equipment in good condition to ensure their optimal functioning. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.

As a Maintenance Worker, you will be part of a team that ensures the smooth running of our facilities. You will be responsible for inspecting all equipment and systems and identifying any problems or defects that need to be addressed. You will also be expected to perform routine maintenance and repairs, as well as more complex tasks, as necessary. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work independently, and has a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair work on equipment, machinery, and systems
• Conduct regular inspections to identify issues and maintain proper functioning of facilities and meet safety standards
• Inspect and troubleshoot and diagnose problems with equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation)
• Respond to emergency repair requests in a timely manner
• Follow company safety protocols and use protective gear as required
• Checking control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
• Experience using hand and electrical tools
• Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls etc.
• Install appliances and equipment
• Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs
• Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm)
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Report to a facilities or maintenance manager for issues

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven maintenance experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of general maintenance procedures, tools, and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Good communication skills and ability to work with a team
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
