Join a patient-focused healthcare practice as our Medical Receptionist . You’ll be the first point of contact—welcoming patients, managing check-in/out, scheduling, and insurance verification—while protecting PHI and keeping the front office running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

• Greet patients warmly; check in/out and confirm demographics
  

• Verify and enter insurance accurately; collect copays/self-pay & post receipts
  

• Answer phones/voicemails promptly; provide basic info and route messages
  

• Schedule/reschedule new and established patients (in person & by phone)
  

• Monitor patient flow; communicate delays with patients and clinical staff
  

• Maintain tidy, organized front office; complete general admin tasks
  

• Uphold privacy standards and HIPAA compliance at all times
  

Required Qualifications

• MediClear or equivalent HIPAA credential (required)
  

• 1+ year experience in a medical office/front desk role preferred 
  

• Proficient with computers/EMR; fast, accurate data entry
  

• Clear, professional verbal and written communication; strong customer service
  

• High attention to detail; able to multitask in a fast-paced setting
  

• Able to handle confidential/sensitive information with discretion
  

Preferred

• Prior experience scheduling patients and working with insurance verification
