Job Description

Pride Health is hiring a Med-Surg Travel Registered Nurse to support our client’s medical facility, which is based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This permanent opportunity is a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to patients undergoing total joint replacement and other related conditions.
• Manage 5 patients per shift effectively, ensuring timely medication administration and patient assessments.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic.
• Support float pool units as needed based on staffing demands.
• Participate in weekend shifts as required (EOW).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Qualifications:

• Active Iowa or compact RN license
• Flexibility to float to other units within the hospital.
• Competence and experience in post-surgical care, especially orthopedic/joint replacement.
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities in a 12-hour shift format.
• Adaptability and readiness to start on short notice (any Monday).

Schedule: 3x12 Days, Every Other Weekend

Pay Range: $91/hr (Negotiable)

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
