Cedar Family Farms is a Southeast Iowa grain, livestock, and trucking operation headquartered near Washington, IA. We are looking to add a team member to assist with daily accounting work and other administrative tasks to help the business operate effectively.
Required Work Hours/Days: Flexible hours weekdays between 8:00 am-5:00 pm.
The ideal candidate for this role will exhibit attention to detail, have a team-oriented work ethic, and possess basic bookkeeping skills. Preferred qualifications include proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks. A background in agriculture is a plus!
Job Responsibilities (may include but not limited to):
Financial Support
• Enter and pay bills in QuickBooks
• Receive and process accounts receivables
• Prepare product and activity invoices
Record Management
• Maintain farm activity records
• Assist in tracking crop input and inventory records
• Organize and maintain office files
Job Qualifications:
• Degree in accounting, finance, or business is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferred
• Proficiency in QuickBooks preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
