Banquet Servers are responsible for food and drink service at hotel banquet functions. They make sure function space is visually appealing and present the menu offering for the event. This may include linen and table setting, food station design, and beverage service. Other duties include general banquet preparation, room refreshes, rolling silverware and maintaining a sanitary environment.

This is an On Call position. There will not be guaranteed set number of hours. This person must work at least 1 shift every 30 days to stay an active employee.

The hourly rate for this position is $16.85/hr

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight and to carry a tray for plated food service
• Experience and a thorough understanding of banquet service.
• The ideal candidate will have previous hotel banquet serving experience
• Professional communication, presentation, and service etiquette
• 3+ years of Serving experience.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
