A nationally respected manufacturing organization—supported by a global parent company—is looking for a detail-driven, analytically gifted Pricing & Analytics Manager to develop and lead data-informed pricing strategies that enhance profitability, drive competitiveness, and support long-term growth.

In this highly collaborative, high-impact role, you’ll work cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, and Marketing to turn pricing and cost data into powerful strategies. You'll build models, forecast trends, and advise leadership—all while strengthening the bottom line.

🔍 What You'll Be Doing

📈 Strategy & Planning

  • Design pricing structures, tools, and discount frameworks aligned with market and financial goals
  • Guide scenario planning, pricing sensitivity, and forecasting for new and existing products
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to define customer-specific pricing strategies and proposals
  • Partner with Finance to evaluate cost impact, revenue projections, and pricing outcomes

📊 Data & Analytics

  • Conduct in-depth pricing, cost, and margin analysis using Power BI, Excel, SQL, JDE, and SAP Business Objects
  • Research competitor pricing, market dynamics, and industry trends
  • Maintain and enhance pricing databases and tools to ensure data integrity and agility
  • Translate data into actionable business insights, KPIs, and executive reporting

🛠 Modeling & Execution

  • Build and manage financial models to evaluate profitability and pricing scenarios
  • Create templates and configurators to streamline quoting and ensure pricing consistency
  • Integrate cost components (labor, transport, overhead) into pricing models for accurate decision-making
  • Support Salesforce and JDE quote creation and project pricing proposals

📋 Reporting & Process Optimization

  • Produce monthly and quarterly pricing reports, track margin impact, and price realization metrics
  • Recommend process improvements and system enhancements related to pricing, quoting, and analytics
  • Participate in ERP improvement efforts and buying program design
  • Manage approvals of promotional pricing and sales samples

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 3–5+ years in pricing, financial analysis, or sales analysis (manufacturing experience strongly preferred)
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling expertise
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (JDE preferred), Salesforce, SQL, and Power BI
  • Deep understanding of cost structures, pricing methodology, margin analysis, and market positioning
  • Strong math and analytical reasoning; high attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to translate complex data into business narratives and recommendations
