Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Regional Manager to oversee the consolidated activities of multiple entities within a designated territory. This senior leadership role focuses on strategic planning, financial oversight, operational efficiency, and team development . The ideal candidate will drive business growth, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and foster a high-performance culture .

Key Responsibilities:

Company Culture, Strategy & Leadership

  • Champion the company’s safety culture and actively support all safety initiatives .
  • Promote and uphold company values, mission, vision, and ethical standards .
  • Develop and execute regional business strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Lead and mentor regional management teams , setting clear expectations and accountability.
  • Drive recruitment, retention, and professional development initiatives.
  • Cultivate relationships with industry leaders, regulatory agencies, and key stakeholders .
  • Lead and implement change management initiatives to adapt to market conditions.

Operations Management

  • Provide oversight of construction and manufacturing operations , ensuring efficiency and profitability.
  • Manage production planning, budgeting, and capital investments to support operations.
  • Optimize plant, equipment, and workforce utilization to enhance safety, cost-effectiveness, and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations , including environmental and safety standards.

Financial Management

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the region.
  • Analyze market data and recommend operational and expansion strategies .
  • Establish financial targets, goals, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for regional teams.
  • Approve budgets, monitor expenses, and manage capital expenditures .
  • Present financial and operational reports to senior leadership.
  • Ensure adherence to financial best practices, ethics policies, and regulatory standards .

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, construction management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of experience in heavy civil construction, aggregate materials manufacturing, or a related industry .
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing multiple teams.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.) .
  • Proven ability to mentor, develop talent, and drive team success .
  • Experience with financial statements, budgeting, and capital management .
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, define solutions, and make informed decisions .
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging employees, clients, and regulatory agencies .

Physical & Travel Requirements:

  • Must be able to wear and maintain required PPE in compliance with company safety standards.
  • Occasionally required to lift/move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods at a computer workstation.
  • Occasional standing, walking, kneeling, and working in construction/industrial environments .
  • Exposure to dust, chemicals, loud noise, and varying weather conditions .
  • Frequent travel, including overnight and some international trips .
