About the Role

This position reports to Production Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities

• Overall management of the testing equipment and the team who are tasked with maintaining and calibrating the test equipment.
• Internal and external testing of electrical distribution products.
• Testing will be focused on instrumentation transformers, cut-out fuses and switches and testing will be for both low voltage and medium voltage products.
• Determining offered solutions and product versions, including the extent of standard and non-standard solution scope to meet customer requirements.
• Working independently using solid competency in technologies, tools, and methods to solve critical issues.
• Supporting technical reviews and participating in core technical meetings.
• Coordinating technical support for the resolution of technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with IEEE C37.20.1, C37.60 and C37.61, C37.09, IEC 62271-100 and IEC 62271-111 standards as well as ISO 17025.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in electrical engineering with 3 years of relevant experience preferred or 4-year degree with 10-year relevant experience
• Experienced in planning and executing projects
• Experience in dealing with the cultural diversity of a global business environment.
