About Bibliotheque  

Bibliotheque   is a bookstore, café, and wine bar in the heart of New York’s famed SoHo neighborhood. It was founded in 2022 by father-son team Dr. Andrew Jacono and A.J. Jacono.  Dr. Jacono   is a world-renowned facial plastic surgeon and AJ is a published writer and founder of The Spotlong Review . Bibliotheque aims to offer the New York Community an unparalleled literary lounge experience. It's a gathering space for the artists, bookworms, wine and food lovers of the world.   Our beverage program is curated by Wine Director, Scott Woltz, and consists of over 750 selections (3000 bottles) including rare offerings from the 1950s to present day.

What we are looking for:  

• A sommelier or server with a passion for wine and service. Experience in wine with basic knowledge required.

• This is a hands-on service position combining wine leadership with full dining room responsibilities.

• Candidate who is comfortable moving between deep wine conversations and high-level, efficient service

• A love and knowledge for the wines of classic regions (Burgundy, Bordeaux, Piedmont, Tuscany, California). 

• A familiarity with classic producers and vintages. 
• Ability to maintain a clean, well-organized wine cellar. 
• Excellent communication skills. 
• A strong sense of urgency while exuding a calm demeanor.
• A desire to lead an inclusive wine culture, inspiring and training fellow team members with humble wine education. 
• Ability to connect with new guests and form great relationships with regulars.
• A professional with a positive and motivating presence and a strong attention to detail.
