Job Description

Job responsibilities:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
• Minimum of 10 years IT experience with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in architecting cloud solutions, including design and deployment of workloads on MS Azure
• 5 or more years of experience in Data Warehousing, Data Engineering, and Analytics.
• Experience with cloud deployment, technical and security architecture, database architecture, virtualization, software design, networking, DevOps, and DevSecOps.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience in Cloud Native design principles and modern architectures (e.g., event-driven architecture, serverless, containers, Kubernetes, stream processing, event sourcing/CQRS).
• Sound knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and secure networking.
• Experience with IaC using Terraform with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Azure Resource Manager, Virtual Networks, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Automation, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Site Recovery.
• Experience in developing and deploying Cloud Native Applications using Azure PaaS Capabilities involving App Services Plans, Key Vault, SQL Azure DB, Azure Functions, Containers, Azure Container Apps, AKS.
• Experience in Integration Technologies such as IPaaS, Azure API Management, Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid.
• Experience with IAM, Authentication and Authorization of applications using Azure AD, OAuth, (SAML/OAuth/OIDC), MFA, and RBAC.
• Experience with Azure data services such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure SQL Database.
• Proficiency in virtual networking concepts such as virtual private clouds (VPCs), subnets, internet gateways, NAT gateways, route tables, and network access control lists (ACLs). Knowledge of cloud-native security features like network security groups (NSGs), firewalls, distributed denial of service (DDoS) protection, and virtual private network (VPN) connections can also prove useful.
• Experience in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate routine tasks, deploy infrastructure, and manage cloud resources programmatically. Includes experience in leveraging infrastructure automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines to automate configuration management.

Licenses/ Certifications

• Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification is required
• Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure AI Engineer Associate or similar certification is preferred
