Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Trust and Probate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estate planning, trust administration, and probate litigation. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with clients to provide tailored legal solutions while furthering your career in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide legal counsel and representation in all aspects of trust and probate law, including estate planning, trust administration, and probate litigation.
* Draft and review wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents.
* Represent clients in probate court and related proceedings.
* Advise clients on strategies for minimizing estate taxes and avoiding probate.
* Assist with the administration of estates and trusts, including asset distribution and compliance with legal requirements.
* Conduct legal research and stay current on developments in trust and probate law.
Qualifications:
* Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
* Active California State Bar membership.
* 3-15 years of experience in trust and probate litigation.
* Strong analytical, writing, and verbal communication skills.
* Proven ability to manage complex cases and deadlines effectively.
* Excellent client management and interpersonal skills.
