Chief Engineer - Union, Local 39.

San Francisco, CA (Mission Bay)

$185,000 - $200,000 per annum.

Monday - Friday (1st shift)

Due to an internal expansion, we have an excellent opportunity for a Chief Building Engineer to work for the a prestigious healthcare campus in San Francisco, CA.

Our client are looking for a talented seasoned Chief Engineer that has proven experience in a complex environment, has BMS Controls experience and prior leadership experience is preferred .

The successful candidate will ideally have basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC and general facility maintenance knowledge. Prior Healthcare experienced is essential - Healthcare Environments are defined as hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, trauma centers

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide a reactive and proactive maintenance service
• Provide a multi-skilled maintenance engineer service, which covers electrical and mechanical disciplines
• Provide a service that ensures all mechanical and electrical equipment is running to optimum performance
• Provide a service that ensures all key performance indicators are met
• Understand critical building automation systems
• Carry out modifications and installations when required
• Liaise with sub-contractors and external suppliers
• Liaise with client/management

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 3+ years working in a leadership capacity
• A recognized qualification in one of the following: Electrical or HVAC
• Strong BMS Controls background
• Be flexible towards work & carry out duties that may not be specific to your trade
