Position Summary

Our company is seeking a skilled Class A Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a commercial motor vehicle to transport equipment. This position requires adherence to all state and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. The driver must have a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and a clean driving record.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Transport equipment, ensuring proper handling and safe delivery.
• Safely drive and operate the assigned vehicle for loading and unloading equipment.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and complete required documentation.
• Adhere to all state and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Report any accidents, incidents, or traffic violations to the appropriate parties.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, including performing basic maintenance tasks such as checking fluids and tire pressure.
• Communicate effectively.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) required.
• Clean driving record.
• Must complete a preemployment background check and drug and alcohol screening.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions and tolerate.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Ability to lift fifty pounds.

Education & Experience

• Minimum 2 years driving experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
