Opportunity to join the team at a well-established distributor for the marine transportation industry! In this role, you will be responsible for collecting and entering data in databases and maintaining accurate records of valuable company information. Our ideal candidate has essential data entry skills, like fast typing with an eye for detail and familiarity with spreadsheets and online forms. This is a 100% on-site, M-F, 7am-4pm, temp-to-hire opportunity!

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintaining accurate, up-to-date and usable information in company systems.
• Entering customer and account data within time limits.
• Compiling, verifying accuracy and sorting information to prepare for computer entry.
• Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities and checking output.
• Insert customer and account data by inputting text based and numerical information from source documents.
• Compile, verify accuracy and sort information according to priorities to prepare for computer entry.
• Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check output.
• Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents.
• Scan documents and print files when needed.
• Keep information confidential.
• Comply with data integrity and security policies.
• Ensure proper use of office equipment and address any malfunctions.
• Flexibility to take on any new company or customer work as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Intermediate Knowledge in QuickBooks and Excel.
• Proven Data Entry work experience and Account handling skills.
• Experience with MS Office, Adobe, additional computer training or certification will be an asset.
• Ensuring Confidentiality in all work areas.
• Experience using office equipment, like fax machines and scanner.
• Typing speed and accuracy.
• Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation.
• Attention to detail.
• Strict adherence to confidentiality.
• Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks.
• Helpful to others and excels in a team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Multitasking skills.

PAY TRANSPARENCY POLICY STATEMENT

Compensation for roles at Suna Solutions varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific client, office or remote location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Suna Solutions provides a reasonable pay scale to include the hourly or salary range that Suna Solutions reasonably expects to pay for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below.

Pay Range: $19-$20/hr.
