Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse Operations Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Bradshaw Home. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing various maintenance and operational tasks within our warehouse facility. The primary focus will be to ensure the proper functioning, cleanliness, and safety of equipment and facilities to support the smooth operations of our warehouse.

Responsibilities:

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing a range of daily tasks to maintain a well-organized and safe warehouse environment. The typical tasks include:

Operational Support:

• Maintaining current certification (employer provided) for all equipment in purview.
• Ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of powered equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc), VAS area conveyance, heat wrap, bailors/compactors, de-stuffits, pallet wrappers, pallet inverters, battery changing and other specialized equipment.
• Provide equipment for operational use including:
  • Assisting in unloading and organizing pallet deliveries in the warehouse.
  • Managing V-board inventory and cut to size for packaging and shipping needs.

Trash Collection and Clean up:

• Organizing and executing regular trash collection and disposal.
• Collecting and appropriately storing items for recycling
• Responding promptly to any oil or water spills and ensuring proper cleanup and containment.
• Conducting janitorial tasks for outdoor areas like the patio and yard.
• Managing the removal and loading of bails from the facility.

Preventive Maintenance and Light Repairs:

• Conducting minor plumbing repairs as needed.
• Performing wall painting and patchwork to maintain the aesthetics of the warehouse.
• Addressing and fixing any damages to the warehouse racking system.
• Assisting in various special projects as assigned by the management.
• Coordinate with vendors on site to repair or maintain items, as appropriate.

Supervisory skills required:

• Dependable and reliable.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and inspire the maintenance team.
• Effective communication to convey instructions, provide feedback, and address concerns.
• Experience managing schedules, assigning tasks, and promoting team cohesiveness.
• Ability to quickly and effectively solve problems to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and promoting a culture of safety consciousness.

Position Requirements:

• Possession of a valid Georgia Driver's License.
• Experience with small power tools.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Experience in cleaning and janitorial work.
• Available to work from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
• Knowledge and experience in general maintenance tasks.
• Ability to read and speak English; bilingual skills are optional but beneficial.

Preferred experience with the following equipment:

• Electric, rideable pallet jacks (Walkie Riders)
• Dock Stocker
• High reach truck
• Man Up order picker
• Sit Down Propane forklift
• Scissor lift
• Light conveyor
• Cardboard bailors
• Trash compactor

Pay and Benefits:

US$28.00 - US$30.00 Hourly

Final compensation offered will be determined based on a number of job-related factors, including the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications. Employees in this role are eligible to participate in the company's benefits program, which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company matching, accrued vacation, floating holidays, and designated company holidays.
