Job Description A client of Insight Global is seeking a Cloud Solution Engineer to be based in the DMV area. This Engineer will be in a non-technical, customer facing role where they will provide strategic and advisory support to customers across the DMV area. This person will be responsible for delivering technical solutions in line with the business requirements on a large and complex data system for the agency. This will be a fulltime position with the client offering a salary range between $155,000-$165,000. Other responsibilities will include: - Providing direction on which cloud infrastructure to use in support of applications in the cloud with an emphasis on scalability, automation, performance and availability. - Evaluates provided documentation and makes recommendations to the government based on findings - Evaluates change/release notifications and notifies customer of changes - Advises on adoption based on specific DoD use cases. - Interacts with customers on a daily basis to discuss cloud adoption pipeline. - Facilitates and attends multi-cloud technical exchange meetings.
